Looking at the guide here in Melbourne, it looks like the lead up games will be shown on GEM for first time.

But more confusingly it looks like the main game will be simulcast on both GEM and 9??

Is that the same in NSW and QLD??

The whole day will be simulcast on Nine and Gem.

The entire nation gets the entire day on GEM - then the entire nation gets the NRL Grand Final live from the pre-match to fulltime. In addition, obviously NSW, QLD, ACT and NT get the lower grades in SD.

PLUS - Fox Sports is doing the two lead-up games as well.

I agree, will be very interesting. I don't think the heat would affect the Broncos too much.

Our first two gamers were played in 34 and 32 degree heat with 80% plus humidity. So actual feel like temps around 37degrees.

Round three was against the Cowboys and I think it may have been Gavin Cooper that was vomiting because of it? Unsure who it was, but I saw the guy have a huge vom, likely due to the heat or a hit, the heat was appalling.

I think Cooper was throwing up after a shot to the ribs/stomach.

I agree though, the heat won't really favour one team much more than the other... The Broncos forwards are smaller and Hunt/Milford will savour running at tiring forwards.

It will however make the footy even faster and better.

I saw the one going viral on facebook - posted to the "today" show page. It has since been deleted. Him passed out on the floor. Another one is circulating of him looking rough with some young dude who has snapchatted it with the caption "pingas" haha.
