With Sydney's population expected to swell by 2030, I would expect all clubs to increase their memberships substantially.

People becoming members of their Football clubs on mass is only a recent phenomenon, which will be built on over the coming years.

that increase is only due to immigration though, largely from asia. so it's not going to lead to an equal growth in RL.

Total as of 1/4/2014 = 96,175

so the current total is close to what the NRL had in 2009 with average close to what the NRL had in 2011 due to only having 10 teams.

hope teams pull a finger out this year. If the ARLC want to achieve 400k members by 2017 they'll need a big boost this year. probably need to get to over 300k this year, then 350k in 2016 and 400k in 2017. not sure where they'll find these people. sure the Titans, Raiders, Tigers and Knights could do better but if the form isn't there not sure how they can sell the memberships.
