There was a mass exodus after each time the Warriors played - both days and last year. In fact the stands didn't look any way like full except when the Warriors games were on - many didn't bother to come in until game time.
We are from the Bay & we watched all the games right through to the Final...had to travel back & had work today. What is it with the Warrior fans? Already at home & not interested in anything past their own noses.
What p***d me off (and it happened every time) is the stadium erupts when the Warriors come in (fine...the passion & it is AK etc etc) but they were also the only games the opposing teams were booed so loudly and in unison. And the booing was as loud every time a call didn't go the Warriors way.
No sportsmanship at all in that so was not surprised when many left after each game and when the Warriors were put out. Obviously not there for the league...
Cringe-worthy every time as a kiwi brought up on sportsmanship and appreciating others skills & achievements no matter the result.
No problem with the Warrior players (especially the ones in the Kiwis) or the team in general but a lot of their fans at the Nines do them a disservice big time....

Your taking it too seriously. Its a brilliant fun weekend. Why get paranoid over what the fans are doing. They paid their money, it all looks great fun on TV, relax.
When the fans stop having fun we need to start worrying.
As for the Warrios ,,, they are the big show.
I loved every minute of their weekend. So what they lost. Who cares. The women games were brilliant.

Didn't say it wasn't a great weekend, we enjoyed it all (again) just saying as a Kiwi, the warrior fans might have had fun but there's always room for sportsmanship & appreciation of all the teams efforts. I don't know how you change that, but as a Kiwi it's goes against the grain. TV wouldn't have shown what it was like to sit amongst it.
Anyway, agree re the women's games...slower but both teams went for it.
I'd like to see the 9s be held in different cities - maybe every 2 years. Then every home team gets to be the 'show' on occasion . The format needs tweaking too...Saturday should be the full day with Sunday the finals (Sunday was far too long. Having the crowd go the 2 days is important so maybe the 7s format with plate, bowl & cup finals would work, all to be held on the Sunday? I don't know really but Sunday was the bigger & longer day & think it could work better for fans
And please, the Warriors are the big show in AK only...they have fans in other parts of NZ simply because they are the only NZ team in the NRL right now

BranVan is a BunniesMan-level genius. Ignore him.
Bran is a shit stirrer. As far as bunnies fans go he is pretty level minded, I'd bet he has most if his teeth too
BM on the other hand...
Lately though rabbits20 has everyone on the site well and truly covered for geniusness
Regardless of the moronic views of some, that was a great game.
Congrats to the bunnies and proud of our boys.
Matt King looked better than some of the plodders in other teams.
Congrats Bunnies. Fans riding high after the Grand Final and now the nines title.
No need to be rude as you always are.
You're the biggest genius and a sore loser.
You're the most bias by far too.
i wouldn't call vic geniused. he is a dick though but most fans on here are
