It is an odd decision but he's had a game. No need to push him too hard and risk another injury just for the 9s. No Gagai is another odd one but it'll be good for all the Mata'utias to get a run together.

Said beforehand that the Eels will be a big disappointment (as far as disappointments in a pre-season nines comp go) if they don't at least make the semi's. Quality team. A few defensive question marks, but on attack they're potentially lethal.
