So if the Sharks end up getting a front of jersey sponsor where will it go if the company doesn't want their logo tilted?

Unfortunately, I don't think it will be an issue anytime soon, but if a miracle were to happen and the club gets a major sponsor I think the Sharks would let them put it wherever they want... the logo I mean.

Yikes, that's yucky!

Would actually look half decent if the stripes were straight instead of randomly crooked.

I realise the lack of sponsor is not by choice, but how good does the jersey look when it focuses only on the clubs own image!!!!

I love that the Sharks have taken on the "CSFC" in such a prominent way. They honestly come across as the most selfrespecting club in NRL when it comes to their history and their brand.

If they were only to take on this fan mockup of their logo (a GAZf production i think?) or some other modernisation of their "Black circle" badge, theirs would be damn near the perfect jersey.

Other than having no sponsor so being forced to put CSFC on their jerseys to avoid an embarrassing blank canvas for most of the past 5 years, exactly what justification do you have for this statement?

That modern logo is sick! Much better than the first one. Actually looks threatening.

Their jersey and merch all hold true to their original jersey....

Where other teams seem determined to pretend nothing existed prior to 1998, the Sharks have taken their old image and made it new again. Their are the template that all other teams should look to.....

You should send your great idea regarding the Sharks to some other NRL clubs. I'm sure saints, souths, roosters, canterbury, Newcastle etc could really learn from the template started by the Sharks in using a pre-1998 jersey design. Genius.

I'm a little confused (not that unusual I know), but just how has Saints, rabbits or Roosters jerseys really gone away from their history? I don't think they have at all

For a 'heartland' club to not have a major sponsor is embarrassing for the code. For a top competition the NRL clubs are stuck in a amateur time-warp in bad administration. Makes the competition look second-rate when a sponsor-less team is on the field. Clubs such as Cronulla are holding the game down and prevent in from growing with there continual administration incompetence.

Living in a time warp?

I can't be bothered... Carry on
