I've read articles about William Hill (albeit published 12 or so months ago) in that they will not have a sponsorship policy. So if that is true, I'm guessing it will revert to Penrith Stadium unless a new sponsor comes along...

They have to keep the same colour scheme, to be different would just be silly.

f**k me. When will clubs realise they need to strengthen their brand identity and stick to a year in year out home jersey at least.

Over half the AFL, the Wallabies, over half the EPL, almost all the NFL and NBA have home jerseys for decades that build tradition and passion in the jersey, club and brand.

The NRL act like money hungry whores and it cheapens the look of the competition.

It's similar to the Pepsi jersey they had in the 90s just with more black. I reckon this will grow on people. And there seems to be a difference between alternate and away so it might only be worn a few times.

Definite similarities to the Pepsi jersey.

97/98/99? No similarities at all.
I'm assuming it's homage to the Reebok jersey (diagonals derrr) but black instead of blue.

Also I thought crooked sponsors were illegal now?

It's the 95-96 Jersey done in black.
The original was sky blue, white and even had grey in it. Looked good.

I actually don't mind this.

Would like to see it in mainly sky blue like it was on the original, but in saying that their home was better.

I think the Sharks have the best colour scheme to work with in the comp.
