Endorsed by the three players who were teh original trojan horses for 3P, plus Ben Smith thrown in for good measure.

Anyone who votes for these clowns is giving an undeserving Spagnolo a way back into our club, nothing surer. Don't even be tempted by this ploy... we were sucked in by 3P once in 2008-09, and then again a few years after that. Time to move on from these factional "legends".

Parramount is the name of their ticket apparently although a regular poster on here who is on this ticket might be able to confirm or deny this.
Fair dinkum... is that the guy that we were assured was "his own man", and who claimed that "he was only helping out Ben Smith"?

Getting into bed with Fitzy and Spagnolo - what has the world come to....

Vote Sharpie's ParraFirst this weekend, to keep our stability and rid our club of the other clowns and their faction fighting for good!

You mean posting an image on a facebook sight that has a handwritten note to a home-made banner stating endorsed by... doesn't mean the endorsement is true.

So you're saying the Parramount ticket isn't endorsed by the three stooges plus Ben Smith? :sarcasm:

Home-made banner...? It's created in a graphics program, doesn't matter whether it was home made or corporate so long as it does the job.

No, I am saying I could reproduce the same thing on my facebook page in about 10 mins.
It doesn't make it true nor does it make it a lie. ;-)

So a completely redundant statement then...

It seems the "regular poster" who is now part of this ticket was actually the person who registered the Parramount domain name, on 28 April 2015. ;-)

So I'd say that person should definitely be able to confirm or deny who endorses a ticket that is using a website he is responsible for....? I wonder if he'll issue a denial that he's in cahoots with Spagnolo too....?

But hopefully he'll be able to get someone to correct the typos on that website, some of them - "Jurnal", "Lates News" - are applalling .

Ok so there is a ticket called Parramount, however I've been told that there is no connection with Roy and Dennis and there appears to be no proof either...

3 of the 7 candidates on the Parramount ticket started this campaign on the ParraProfessionals ticket.
Would you agree that infers a link from ParraMount to Dennis?

At least 2 of the remaining candidates on the Parramount ticket have extremely strong historic ties to Roy and the 3P team of recent elections.

And Parramount is endorsed by the same 3 legends that endorsed 3P way back when.

Circumstantial but still evidence if not proof.

Kieran Foran has 'political turmoil' get-out clause in Parramatta Eels four-year deal

Date May 6, 2015 - 11:00PM Michael Chammas

Parramatta Eels superstar signing Kieran Foran has a clause in his multimillion-dollar contract that would allow him to walk out on the four-year deal if the club slips into the political turmoil that has dogged so much of its recent history.

Fairfax Media can reveal Foran has a clause in his contract which means he can renege on his deal or leave Parramatta at any stage throughout his four-year contract if the struggle for power at the much-maligned club spills over after this weekend's Leagues Club elections and results in upheaval at management level.

Foran has already denied having a clause in his contract in relation to Eels coach Brad Arthur, who was a major reason the five-eighth walked away from Manly to sign a lucrative deal with Parramatta, but the prized recruit is conscious a management restructure could also bring about a change of coach.

The loophole in Foran's contract isn't directly related to Arthur but he has a clause in relation to club administration and management in his favour that would allow him to exit the club at any stage throughout his deal.

Foran is leaving a club that has had its fair share of bitter feuds and conflict at management level in recent years, keen to avoid a repeat of the scenes that led to close friends Glenn Stewart and Anthony Watmough leaving Manly at the end of last season.

The Kiwi playmaker is well aware of Parramatta's turbulent history at board and management level, which is why he requested the clause was added to the contract he signed in March.

The Sea Eagles are desperate to find any leverage to keep the representative five-eighth at Brookvale Oval beyond the end of the season and are no doubt keeping a close eye on what happens at the Eels in the coming weeks.

Much of the talk in recent weeks has been about the NRL's controversial round 13 get-out option, however Foran has been adamant he won't renege on his promise to join the Eels next season.

But this weekend's Parramatta Leagues Club elections could have huge ramifications on Foran's future at the club.

The revelations of Foran's get-out clause come a few weeks after speculation his Manly halves partner Daly Cherry-Evans was considering reneging on his deal to join the Gold Coast Titans next year, however the Sea Eagles No.7 has since tried to put the speculation to bed.

Despite uncertainty surrounding the future of Cherry-Evans, the 24-year-old Foran has no intention of using the round 13 clause to renege on his agreement with the Eels, however the get-out clause at the Eels has been put in place for the duration of his time at the Eels as a precautionary measure.

Speculation has been rife about Cherry-Evans' future over the past month, which only escalated when Manly chief executive Joe Kelly and Cherry-Evans' management were spotted meeting with Fox Sports in April, believed to be discussing a media deal that would entice him to remain in the northern beaches.

Cherry-Evans has since fronted the media to try and ease the speculation but the Sea Eagles still have until round 13 to convince the representative half-back to remain at the club which handed him his debut back in 2011.

Police called over Parramatta Eels election ballot clash

by: PHIL ROTHFIELD
May 07, 2015 12:00AM

IT wouldn’t be a footy season without a Parramatta Eels election brawl.

For decades the Leagues Club’s ballot-box battle has been about as pleasant as a UFC bout.

And Wednesday was no different.

The Eels have confirmed police were called to the club in the afternoon to forcibly remove a disgruntled fan who was accused of using an improper membership card.

The Daily Telegraph obtained exclusive CCTV stills of a bald middle aged man remonstrating with staff and security before police arrived.

The Eels issues a statement to warn all members on the eve of the election.

“Parramatta Leagues Club reminded members that it would use all of its resources to ensure an orderly election and AGM following a police incident this afternoon,” the statement said.

“An individual claiming to be a member had to be forcibly removed.

“During the incident the person told club staff that he obtained his original membership card from former chairman Roy Spagnolo who had requested that he send a photo to him personally.

“Club membership records have confirmed that the club did not take the photo and that this particular card had been issued improperly ... in April 2013.”

“The person became aggressive towards club staff stating that he would not leave the club until he spoke with Roy and subsequently phoned Mr Spagnolo to protest his being removal from club.

“He was then forcibly ejected from the club and Parramatta police were waiting outside to speak with him.”

Leagues Club CEO Bevan Paul confirmed many others have been banned from voting.

“After a lengthy process, 146 persons had their memberships cancelled due to evidence of membership record tampering during the previous administration and these people will not be allowed to interfere with the club elections and AGM,” he said.

Apparently Steve Sharp is to blame for Hayne leaving. Sharp made a comment that Jarryd had a 2 year contract that he would honour playing for the eels and because he left Sharp is at fault. Gotta love that logic.

lol, this wouldn't be our ex-legend who appeared on TV in the last week, brandishing an expired membership card with no photo?

It actually sounds like the type of behaviour Sevens/Sangreal86 might get involved in, given his past history on this front...

No need to worry, we are going to win the comp next year anyway, Shapie said so. By the way, didn't Sharp guarantee us he would never allow such clauses in any contracts under his administration after the Stuart walkout fiasco?

Seriously, no wonder no one turns up to vote, it doesn't matter who we vote for @ parra you can guarantee we'll end up with the same amateur power trippers and petty games. I'm with Rammy, f#@k em all.

Apparently Hadley was bagging Sharp & Co this AM. Referring to his ticket as having failed politicians, mayors etc. and doing his best to sway the blue rinse set away from the current board.
