Yeah maybe, or maybe it is entirely consistent with what was broached in the original statement.

Wests Tigers can confirm that Matthew Lodge has been charged by the NSW Police following an altercation in the early hours of Sunday January 11, 2015.

The Club finds Lodge’s actions unacceptable and is cooperating fully with the NRL Integrity Unit.

Lodge was stood down from training for one week due to a breach of Club protocol and further punishment will be considered once the NRL Integrity Unit has concluded investigating the matter.

Wests Tigers will make no further comment at this time.

Just read all the comments, my two cents:

Lawrence - give the bloke a chance to play. If he doesn't cut it then we can all whinge about it.

Galloway - the people who have been bagging him out...don't know what game you watched last week. Galloway was solid.

Santi - deserves his spot once again. I thought he was solid and will get even better

Lovett - Was also solid but I would rather see if Lawrence has got back some of his old form first

Halutau - he was also solid and is a great bench utility being able to cover Hooker, Lock and Second Row...really don't know where the negativity was coming from.

Tupau - this motherf**ka is only getting started. He looked like an absolute beast Rd 1 and he deserves that 13 jersey permanently if he continues to improve....which he will
