9 Robbie Farah (c)
10 Keith Galloway
11 Kyle Lovett
12 Chris Lawrence
13 Martin Taupau.
Interchange:
14 Dene Halatau
15 Matthew Lodge
16 Ava Seumanufagai
17 Sauaso Sue
18 Brendan Santi.

A good bench and I guess Halatau was going to be there before Cherrington. The full game in NSW Cup will be a good thing for Cherrington.

I hope the back 3 have blinders making in hard for son of Paul to simply walk back into the team.

Hopefully the Leichhardt Oval thingy will do the thing but from memory, Penrith have done ok at Leichhardt not like the old Balmain Tigers who had a great record at home v Penrith.

NSW Cup team for Rd 16
1 TIM MOLTZEN 2 KEITH LULIA 3 NATHAN MILONE 4 WATSON HELETA 5 KURTIS ROWE 6 PENANI MANUMALEALII 7 JOSH DRINKWATER 8 JUNIOR TATOLA 9 MANAIA CHERRINGTON 10 JACK BUCHANAN 11 LAMAR LIOLEVAVE 12 ASIPELI FINE 13 ANDY FIAGATUSA 14 JOEL LUANI 15 MICHAEL BULLOCK 16 WES LOLO 17 JARROD FARLOW

I thought moltzen was seriously injured a couple of weeks ago? I havnt been keeping up to date with the reggies.

Let's hope Taylor rotates the bench in a smarter way and not have woods, tapau and keeff all off the field at the same time like he does every other week. We really should get the points this week against an understrength Penrith at Leichhardt!

Penrith will give 100% as they always do.We most likely won't as we carry a number of under-performing bludgers. We will play penrith back into form as we normally do in circumstances where the opposition is in desperate need for a win.

The leichhardt factor does not give us any advantage anymore as this mob are piss weak physically & mentally.

I'd like to see the poor record @ leichhardt over the last few yrs being turned around but an understrength Penrith team will be very competitive & as one expects them to have better field position due to the huge advantage they have over us with there superior kicking game & hence we will struggle to win.

Fine in the back row. Usually when a reggies centre moves to the back row, it spells the end of their NRL career

I didn't see Penrith play last week but was told they were ordinary which is a worry as the WT will most likely play them into form....it's a game WT should win, if not we are truely f**k*d and a big chance for the spoon.

The Panthers weren't as bad as is being suggested. The Dogs started really strongly and got two tries quickly, but after that were largely contained.

The difference really is that the Dogs took the chances they had and the Panthers didn't. That said there is certainly a problem with lack of cohesion in the attack, but we're hoping with all the offloads that the attack will sooner or later click. Maybe this is the week.

Yeah. Penrith love offloading and second phase play and we'd be close to the worst team in the comp at wrapping up the ball carrier and stopping offloads.

Could be a close win to Tigers or Penrith racking up a cricket score

What annoys me is that before the Bulldogs game the team were "yeah we were really fed up with our performance so we dug in and didn't take a backward step".
Then week before Manly "yeah we are just so happy we got the win so we are just enjoying training and having a laugh".

THAT MANLY GAME WAS f**kING IMPORTANT.

I hope they realize that if we don't win against Penrith we are gone from the top 8.

Unbelievable mentality at the WT,these guys really need a dose of reality....when you are on 12 competition points, equal last with Newcastle,Parra and Manly, you really can not afford to take any team lightly and still expect to win.

Its all spin, they have half dozen lines they use after a loss and another half a dozen lines after a win. Just feed the punters something and hope they will turn up next week. I am starting to get very cynical with our mob and my interest is about where our club is at present, rock bottom
