They need to be seen as being active as they have Burgess contract coming off the books, but ala the botched Fifita deal, Slammin Sam's contracts wasn't worth much to the salary cap.

Also, to add, the interest in Marika Koroibete is real, but only just surfaced when he has been told he had lost his spot in the team.

The Tigers are allowing him to explore all avenues on getting another club, but it won't be a case of the Tigers kicking in any cash. Full freight must be taken on by the potential club.

Most likely not this season, but i don't think Tigers will stand in his way if he finds a new home this year. He won't cost much either. Currently on minimum wage i believe. Probably 100k max would be enough to snare him.

yeah so I hear, I think it's a safe bet paying him more then he's worth now over a long term contract. I hope we have at least tried and are still trying to sign him.
