One thing the Sharks need to ensure is that Maloney and Townsend get the ball when they call for it. During the first half of Friday's game, Ennis kept putting on daft plays down the blind side which no one else in his side was expecting and they failed miserably. Once they stopped him doing that and the ball went out to their halves, they carved the Cowboys up.

Ennis needs to be told to give up the ball, his job is just to shovel it out to the halves.

Is there normally 3 in the bunker? seems a bit excessive, probably get 3 different opinions for most calls.

I think Melbourne will canter this in TBH. They will wrestle and slow it down and defend a lot better than the cowboys did.

I expect them to at least double the sharks up 24-10 or similar.

And finally sharks share a number of similarities with the Rabbitohs of 2014. Both had the weight of decades of failure. Both had the chance to win the minor premiership in the final round, but lost to the eventual minor premiers and finished 3rd. Both won and had a week of and faced the defending premiers in the preliminary final. After a ruthless and dominating game won in the forwards, in which the oppositions star player had an shocker ( SBW in 2014, Thurston in 2016) both had the game wrapped up by the 65th minute. In the 70ish minute both teams fans celebrated in their unique way, souths with a rendition of Botany Road, Sharks with the Ennis Clap. In the last 10 minutes both teams let their foot of their opponents throat and a let them have a few consolation tries. Had Thurston not rushed a pretty easy kick for goal in the final minutes both games would of finished 32-22.

Ha-ha that is eerily accurate, the one key difference though is the opponent in the GF. Souths were fortunate enough to play 7th place, that's not to say that they wouldn't have beaten anyone else but the bulldogs were on a hiding to nothing that day.

There is no such luxury for the sharks, they face the minor premiers who have looked prime for a GF win since before the origin period.

2 very good footy sides there.
Looking forward to this one.
Going for the storm because cronulla can go and get f**ked.
Hope Smith gets the ccm to send the butthurt in here to never before seen levels.

There are those that will take the safe bet option and go for the Storm.

There are those who are insecure within themselves and they always go for the favourites in the Storm.

And there are those who throw caution to the wind who don't care of their reputation, and who love the underdog status...and they are behind the Sharkies.

Fortune favors the brave in going for Cronulla, and the other chickens can suit themselves.

Go Sharkies!

Every game this year apart from two Round 26 fixtures, where there was only two, and any match at a non-NRL venue where a mobile bunker was used.

The third person in the bunker is there to break a dead-locked decision. He is the one who A/ Tosses the coin. B/ On the TAB/Sportsbet hotlines, were they will tell them which ruling to put up which will save them money.
