During the first half of Friday's game, Ennis kept putting on daft plays down the blind side which no one else in his side was expecting and they failed miserably. Once they stopped him doing that and the ball went out to their halves, they carved the Cowboys up.

In the last 10 minutes both teams let their foot of their opponents throat and a let them have a few consolation tries. Had Thurston not rushed a pretty easy kick for goal in the final minutes both games would of finished 32-22.

Ha-ha that is eerily accurate, the one key difference though is the opponent in the GF. Souths were fortunate enough to play 7th place, that's not to say that they wouldn't have beaten anyone else but the bulldogs were on a hiding to nothing that day.

There is no such luxury for the sharks, they face the minor premiers who have looked prime for a GF win since before the origin period.
