These rolling memberships seem to be doing some good.

I imagine this will help growth aswell, as (from what i have heard) poor retention rates seem to be what has kept membership low.

Its amazing what some people come up with

Chances are he's right, they wouldn't process them all on the same day.

Anyway, I contacted the Cowboys and they've come back this afternoon with a figure of 4,860. Not bad as I think they hit 12k or more for the first time last season? I imagine that figure will continue to rise significantly anyway.

Renewed our Roosters membership today.

Disappointing they have not included a members cap as standard. It is optional at $20. Not a bad earner for the club. 17000 odd members equates to about $340k. Happy for the club to make money but the cap is the only thing worth getting excited about.

Seems they are right about us, we have no cap lol.

I renewed mine today
Same price as this year

We got an $80 voucher for the merch stand instead of all the other crap key rings and shit.
It was cool
Got my son a good warm hoodie

they should introduce some flexibility within membership merch. so like you can pick what you want, else you end up with 7 hats and 7 lanyards after having a membership for 7 years.

something like

pick 2 from: Lanyard, keyring, stickers, plastic wristband, and waterproof poncho (crappy plastic stuff but good for gameday),

pick 1 of: beanie, scarf, nice hat, singlet, tshirt

cause every year i get a shitty hat and keyring i never use from the tigers, just an absolute waste. have 3 or 4 sitting there already

I couldn't agree more although the roosters caps are generally pretty good.
Not sure if others clubs are the same but it seems the quality and number of items reduces every year.
They need to be more innovative as well. Maybe offer packages with parking or food or merchandise vouchers.
At the end of the day a membership is really about supporting the club financially so probably not realistic to expect much in return.

No auto rollover/renewal for Roosters this year.

Wonder how that will affect numbers?

I like that option, you can only have so many lanyards and key rings.

Yep
I got a family pass 4 tix
Got the voucher - waited until the last game ( too lazy ) and got the hoodie and 3 coldie holders
Everything was discounted due to the last game.

I have so many hats I'll never wear
Voucher is the go

As mentioned, Sharks memberships come with Merch vouchers.

The Platinum membership also includes a Parking spot.
