still can't get over that kick. if the kicker had failed already going for it on 4th and 1 in that situation might have been an option particularly with AP running it. in saying that you'd expect a kicker to get it from 30 yards away 99.999% of the time.
feeling for both Bengals and Vikings fans at the moment.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but looking at the kick again I can't help thinking that the Vikings should have gone right on that final run play to get the kick more central to the posts or even lined up on the right hand post.
All the pressure from the Seahawks on those FG attempts was coming from the right hand side. It wasn't surprising that he would push it left slightly in an attempt to keep the ball away from the area most likely to get a block.
In the end he pushed it a little more than slightly, but like I said - hindsight is a real bitch sometimes.
