I think it's a kiwi commentator that's saying his name funny though.

I didn't actually catch the way he was saying it, what was he doing? If he was slightly rolling the "r" and stressing the first syllable that's correct from what I know. The Aussies tend to pronounce the R normally and stress the second syllable.

Like "wrapena" if that makes sense...the "ana" part was said quickly so it wasn't like "ah-na".

That's the point, he's the one saying it correctly.
I thought it was only kiwi commentators.

Yeah always going to get problems with surnames. Can't blame commentators on that one. Yesterday I spelt Treboyavich, Treboyavich!! Lol I still don't know how to spell his name.

The pitch looks like it's held up pretty well given the amount of football played and the weather yesterday

It's the premier sports ground in NZ and the All Blacks fortress- pretty save to say they employ the best groundskeepers in NZ with an open chequebook at their disposal.

Yeah I don't mind that the Aus commentators get them wrong much of the time as long as they don't continually murder them like that lazy old fart Rabs. It's kinda annoying when the Kiwi commentators get criticised for getting things right though.
