So with a 12-3 penalty count. And having 2 of their try's falsely awarded nsw win by 4 and it's "the start of a new beginning" calm down. everyone who was watching knew the Blues were gonna win when thiday had the ball raked out and it was "deemed" a knock on. And people saying that Qld can't complain about the penalties because they were legit. That not even the point. The point is nsw at times were worse than qld in the ruck and no penalties were given to them. And to make matters worse Fifita has shown that you can't get penalised for rolling it through your legs without even trying to touch it so now he has half the qld team doing it

Why can't we all agree that Origin is the most classless series of games there is, everyone is a f**king grub and they all know it.

Cooper just scored a try on his debut, got excited and decided to celebrate with a bit of ball dropping. Moylan was more concerned with the fact he'd just let a try in and gave zero shits

then Big Nuts decides to steam in and rip Gavin's head off

once a dumb thug always a dumb thug

Wouldn't he just have been penalised for being late? I imagine the tackle would have been more dangerous had he gone through with a legitimate tackle. I can see how it is a penalty given the rule. I guess GI has to be the sacrificial lamb that exposes the arrant absurdity of the rule - which is quite fitting given he was the reason the shoulder charge rule was changed in the first place.

I think it’s pretty obvious that Fifita was just running in to congratulate Cooper. QLD were just intent on painting NSW as bad sports last night.

He probably had the shits because macguire pulled his hair like a f**ken gimp. I notice the Queenslanderps haven't stopped whinging since they lost the 'meaningless' dead rubber.

Wanker state.

Nothing to do with consistency - the refs were fairly consistent last night. Queensland were happy to concede penalties rather than points, knowing NSW weren't interested in taking the two.

They backed their defence and it nearly worked.

Still love the man.

Gutted he's no longer a Rooster.

A quality player. A brilliant big match player.
And a great character.

Don't know though, we traded him for... Hastings :(
he's really playing the house down at the sharks.

was one of the best last night.

and a niggly merkin to boot.

scoring the winning try in a game that means nothing as opposed to costing your team trys(and the game) in a game that meant something.

we can only hope.
It was odd though not to embrace the try scorer given the significance.

Poor Jennings looked like a no mates after the game too.

Some of our boys felt like NSW players disrespected us during the shield presentations. My take on it is, NSW just beat us, they shouldnt have us rain on their parade with our shield ceremony. Like many have said, shield shouldve been awarded when won. Im sure some of our boys wasnt happy to receive the shield after a loss. Unfair to both teams.

On the footy show I saw earlier
Gallen said they didn't even know smith was making a speech
He said they couldn't hear a word
Erin Molan said the same thing
She was also the feild and had no idea he was making a speech .

So there ya go
Another NSW conspiracy busted
Poor old Thurston sat there looking like a docile motherf**ker when this was mentioned.

I couldn't care less if Gallen and all the blues players gave the finger to Smith, mooned him, then all walked away.

QLD have never been about showing any respect for anyone. They talk trash, they play dirty when they are losing, they abuse officials, they game the judiciary, they even split the Aussie dressing room with their carry on.

They get as much respect as they show, which is none

He aint no sacrficial lamb, he's been well looked after. Kade Snowden was given 7 weeks for a similar incident on Ray Thompson a few years back. From memory it was to be 9 weeks, although he had some loading but so did Inglis.

Geez, J. Thurston has been disappointingly quiet about this foul incident. He was screaming blue murder from the roof tops when Thompson had his jaw broken, so loud was his whining that the NRL told him to shut up. He's a good boy now days isn't he. He seemingly condones this sort of injury now. Not a peep about it. Surprise, surprise.

I'm happy that Parker and Gagai were made to look like sore losers,

They look devastated

Lets not forget singing the Qld song after a win playing for the Australian team.
RESPECT right there.

That's what I was referring to by splitting the dressing room. Absolute bastards.

Thurston's 12 minute monologue about respect and sportsmanship after the game were a treat
