How was the shoulder charge by Holmes on Taumololo when he made the break not a penalty ? No use of the arms whatsoever.
Tamou got done for less in the first half when he wasn't even "charging".
Would have made it 12-10 Cowboys. Different game because of inconsistent refereeing.
Wouldn't chew up 40 odd seconds an attempted penalty would. Then get the ball back at around 40m with 2 minutes to go. If the Cowboys tried to kick short off it they put it only 30m out from their try line. 2 minutes for 2 sets both just about guaranteed to be played in the Cows half.
Still kicking it worked out so it doesn't matter. Tough game Cows, your defence was exceptional.

Refs were shit both ways, but slightly less shit Nth Qld way on balance.
It's sad the refs are attracting attention away from what was a pretty decent game. The Sharks threw wave after wave of attack at the Cowboys, and the Cowboys dug deep to turn them away repeatedly. Then there was some clever game management from the Sharks at the end, aided and assisted by a couple of uncharacteristic errors from the Cowboys. This is what we should be talking about.
