Jeez fellas lighten up.

It was actually a subtle compliment to the Sharks crowd, a little too subtle for you it seems.

Fair enough, but in all honesty it doesn't sound like an appealing game to me.

Me either. But Souths/Wests are two of the clubs Channel 9 have identified as providing them with higher ratings. The others are Broncos (way out in front) then Bulldogs,Souths, Parra, Dragons, followed at some distance by the remaining Sydney clubs. Thus it is Dogs, Souths, Parra, Wests and Dragons that are on TV more than Penrith and Cronulla regardless of how they are travelling. I note Penrith are on FTA this weekend, against another Sydney team. Penrith and Manly are each about level with the Sharks, but playing each other, they beat the Sharks playing the Cowboys, regardless of how good a game it promises to be.

The Sharks were rather fortunate last game. They've been fortunate a couple of times this year actually. They should get home here but their luck will run out before the season does.

When we were on the other end of these come from behind / tear defeat from the jaws of victory, type losses, I used to say the other team was lucky....which is true to some degree.

However, the great teams make their own luck (& stay in the game to take advantage of it).

This

Still need to get into the positions to scoop up balls from sitters that have been dropped by wingers etc and find the effort to chase even when you are down by a fair margin.

Agree! Whenever the sharks used to win, the media always used to play the other team were poor card.
They can't say that anymore!

This was said about the Cowboys last year.

Sharks have something special brewing. I'm not sure they can keep the streak going through to the finals but a few loses won't hurt. I expect the Sharks to win tonight though.
