Other than one or two moments of brilliance and the closeness of the scores, this was a bludger of a match.

My team deserved to lose as too many of them can't seem to do the simple things like hold onto or pass the ball.

The penalties against the roosters were all fair enough except the one that led to the 3rd penalty goal where Luke blatantly held Friend on top of him, we were lucky to not have a sin bin at some point. Having said that, the only penalty the refs could find in our favour after the 20 minute mark was for a play where our player nearly had his shoulder torn from his socket.

I obviously wasn't paying too much attention at that point because I don't remember that but is it possible the Warriors had an injured player? The Roosters didn't need to get a drop out done before the shot clock late in the match because someone was being treated for injury

Couldn't see anything like that on TV, but that would at least be an explanation.

If the lock was actually off frame being treated for injury, then that is ok. If he was just getting some sort of minor bullshit from a trainer and having a drink or something though then that should still be a shot clock infringement.

Mind you, unless the player has a head knock, if he is not obstructing the scrum the ref should be able to just force the team with a player getting treatment to pack a 5 man scrum and keep the game moving

The one thing that irked me in that game was when Tupou was taken high in the in goal when he was cleaning up a Warriors kick, he was taken around the head, neck region and the ref didn't even look at it, should have been an instant penalty to the Roosters and not a line drop out.
