You say this nonsense every game thread. Sauce is a gun, why the hate?

EVERY game thread? I think not.

I just don't consider him to be a complete enough player for Origin level.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind Penrith as an NRL side but the love for Man Sauce is a bit overbearing.

If gray attacks that he catches it on the full and souths score IMO

Too bad he softcocked it hahaa

Gray is a dud.

He could have run faster in that instance.

He wasn't desperate.

He can be thrown to North Sydney Oval.

Those crucial calls that went against us in the first half stuffed us.

Once again those calls have gone against us.

Souths got a few dud calls but it didn't cost them the game. Penrith were the better team and were up by 14 with 5 mins to go. They stopped caring and souths got a few late tries which made the score look closer then it was.

You had many soft calls go your way to be in it at all.

Souths are shit. Couldnt beat a team that refuses to tackle inside their 20 metres.

The way Penrith defended tonight they would have lost by 20+ against anyone else.
Lucky for them they were only up against souffs

I went to the game tonight, I am happy with the win because when I turn up they usually lose...
Bryce Cartwright has to be given a run in Origin 3 while as for Penrith we'll be lucky to go near the 8 with the way we're defending and the dumb penalties we're giving away. However we have a favourable draw so should really be making it..

Still it's always nice to beat Souffs though! haha.

No they wouldn't have because the 2016 Panthers always play near the opposition's level. This results in close wins or close losses every fricking week. Strange team

Chin up Penrith fans. Your mob may be hanging around the 8 with some mediocre form just like mine, but there are a couple of crucial differences: you know how to score tries, you don't put your own fans to sleep, and you have a number of very talented young players that are slowly melding into a very good side. Catch a break with injuries one of these years and you'll give the comp a shake. The worst part is that our version of Cartwright is playing for Cronulla because our management and coaching staff didn't think he was ready for first grade.

Souths were playing for their season. They weren't the train wreck everyone suggested by a long way.

The Penrith defence was shonky at times though all the same. It has been thus most of the year. Teams that need to score against us generally do.

As much as I hate to say it, I agree.

It's the best I've seen The Human Crab play. He actually ran towards the tryline for a change. On many occasions. Good in the air and fell over the line for a try.

Still not origin material though.

The guy regularly gets 180m plus and is always near the top of the league in tackle busts. He is easily the best winger in the comp for starting off sets and eating metres up and he has talent for milking penalties while still giving quick play the balls most of the time. Starting the sets off is a big part of a wingers job now, To act like he doest go forward is one of the most idiotic things I've read on these forums. He has some limitation for sure but going forward certainly isn't one of lol wtf are you watching.

He is being accused of running sideways, but even that is a misguided criticism. Defences wants a winger to be pinned in the corner, it restricts the atack, so the defence can rush in and get numbers in the tackle, and force slow play the balls. So when Mansour makes 10m, while also gettinhg the ball towards the centre of the field, while also getting fast play the balls, means he is having a huge contribution to the start of a set

However we have a favourable draw so should really be making it..

Teams with favourable draws don't always make the semis or finish as well as they should.

The Raiders last year had a dream run home I thought but stuffed it up....must've looked at the draw & thought it was easy.
