Why? It was obviously the right decision. The refs probably saw it but let the play continue because they weren't 100% sure and knew they'd be able to use the bunker to check it. Better than taking a punt on it in real time and getting it wrong.

There was never a doubt with the grounding. Why was that referred to the bunker?

When Barber scored they gave a try as they went up to the bunker but when the Warriors score it's always no try before they go to bunker
