So the team set up winning plays & a player botches it, & the coach gets the blame.

I thought McFadden was shit but he got a spirited performance out of his team against the top team, after 3 straight wins.

Give him a bit of credit as he obviously has them revved up a bit!

Don't give me this rubbish. Why would you bench Lolohea for Wright? Even if he had a niggling injury i still wouldn't pick Wright. He's been starting Johnson even though he's had an injury the passed couple so why not play Lolohea who's consistently been one of our best this season?

Why did he bench him?

You obviously think he's a better player? I guess up against Wright, that goes without saying.

So why did he make such an obvious stupid decision??

Was it a disciplinary decision...Is he a bludger at training...??

I don't know why but the warriors need some tough calls, maybe he made another like the dropping of a few players a few weeks ago?

Since coming into first grade Lolohea is one guy who has always given everything and I can't remember him putting a foot wrong off the field.

I find it hard to believe it's a bludging issue.

At the 50 minute mark I wondered if maybe he was injured in the warm up, but then he came on.

There's no obvious answer from the outside looking in, but this isn't the first time Wright has been wedged into the side without any real reason.

Tough calls are needed, but unless Tui did something completely out of character this is not one if them.

Sharks might be the real deal (going ALL the way).
Have they played Melb yet?

Exactly. Anyone who can get the Warriors concentrating for more than one game deserves a stay of execution.

The game was brilliant and calls went both ways. Sharks are clutch. My only gripe is how slow Fifita is in the ruck and how he crowds the attacker every time. It's his pet play.

Other than that it could be a good end to the year for the Sharks.

Every coach has us looking good this time of year. We have a 75% win rate during Origin over the last 4 seasons where we've failed to make the 8 each time.

We won't know how close we are to getting on the right track with our new attitude until rounds 20-26.

I just don't get why you would change your team around after winning three in a row. My first thoughts were injury or misbehavior of some sort but I really don't know. I honestly think Lolohea has a niggling injury and he wanted to rest him but we have the bye next week so that just makes it even more confusing.

Warriors were very tough, and still managed to fail in execution in a few moments.

They could easily have won.

Hopefully this is not just a Origin period boost, and they can keep this up for most of the last 10 rounds. They'll make the 8 and be competitive from there if they play like that each week.

How did the Warriors not go for a field goal in the last 10 seconds of first half of golden point. Crazy

Great game of footy

The Kiwis showed up tonight. I guess we're the benchmark that all teams (Besides Newcastle) Turn up when they play us. I thought we were flat tonight, and with all the Blues players backing up..

I noticed we're getting a few injuries as well. I think we need to rest a few against Parra.
