Has there been a decent Thursday night game this season? I've only watched a few but f**k me they've been bludgers. The second half could of put anyone to sleep.

Well done refs....oops I mean dogs

Trent is that you?:lol::lol:

You won the penalty count... What are you whinging about? A try that was a try except to all Roosters supporters?

Funny I didn't hear Trent and co. whinge last year when Kane Evans effectively ended our season in the Semi from a shocking Video Ref decision which changed the game (You scored again the next set and it was game over).

Anyways Bulldogs did enough to win the game and end the Roosters season :D... Once Eastwood is back we are at full strength for the first time all year:D.

For all the crap about the Jackson try (which I'm still yet to figure out why it wouldn't have been a try, Gasnier's rulebook is mythical), where's the focus on Tupou dropping it with the line wide open. That's where the Roosters lost it. Heads dropped and the Dogs got a sniff.

Lichaa pushed Guerra's hand down for the try.

That's clearly interference to the defensive player.

Aside from that he was held up.

IMO the Roosters got more than their fair share of the 50/50 calls.
I would say that this was the worst refereeing the Dogs have copped all season, at least the worst I can remember.... there are too many things to list.
But one example was the penalty against Jacko for kicking the ball away ... how often does that happen?
I will admit the Roosters played well for the first 30 minutes and the Dogs were a bit off for most of the game... but in the end we did enough to get the win ... not a great performance but 2 valuable points.
The Roosters also showed what they are capable of if they get their top team on the paddock and are switched on for the full 80 minutes.
But they also showed that they continue to make dumb errors has they have most seasons, this year with all the injuries and suspensions, they are not getting away with it.
But on the plus side that was a very good game for Pearce, if he keeps up that form and they cut out some of the dumb mistakes they can win a few games.
If nothing else they need to set a platform for next year.

It would be fair to say the Roosters lost this one. They should have had 20 before the Dogs bothered the scoreboard.

Probably because he was held up for an hour before a teammate came and pushed the ball down (and the defenders hand) for him.

Tony Archer confirmed that they got the call wrong.

Stated that it should have been overturned due to interference by Lichaa on Guerra.

Anyone with half a brain could see it. Except the dunces in the bunker.
