They haven't dropped him, not this week anyway. He's on the bench. He was on the bench last time he played for the Tigers as well.

Not correct

Wests Tigers statement: Robbie Farah
Wests Tigers | July 20 2016 6:15PM

Wests Tigers can confirm that Robbie Farah will not play for the Club's first-grade team on Sunday against the St. George-Illawarra Dragons.

Head Coach Jason Taylor informed Farah on Wednesday that he will not be in the NRL team to face St. George-Illawarra this Sunday.

"This was not an easy decision to make, but I have selected the 17 players that I believe will give the Club the best chance of victory against the Dragons," Taylor said.

"Robbie is understandably disappointed, but I have spoken at length with him that he will be given every opportunity to regain his position in the NRL team."

Farah will play for the Club's Intrust Super Premiership team on Saturday, July 23 againstNewtown Jets at Leichhardt Oval.

Why the f**k do clubs think people are stupid. It is clearly for reasons other than not being the best option for the Tigers game. Taylor would have known yesterday when he named the team if he was the best option or not.

I'm in no way a Farah fan, but this is beyond ridiculous. If Matt Ballin was fit all good however there is no way known that Halatau, ET, Cherrington, Liddle etc are a better 9 then Farah.

In 2014 the Tigers had just beaten the Dogs by 30 (who made the GF that year) and were on the cusp of the 8. We were due to play the dragons and the Story broke that Potter was about to be sacked. At halftime saints lead 22-0 and we went onto lose our next 5 straight.

Sick of the this club continually sabotaging itself. Goodbye any hope of making the finals this year.

Seems they named him on the bench then changed their minds. Obviously something has happened after the team was named.

It's stupidity.

The situation is ridiculous.

Robbie has to be in the Tigers side and is the best hooker.

Taylor is an imbossile.

Can SOUTHS please have Farah.

The Tigers are self sabatoging. If the Dragons win then I will be loling at Taylor.

I can't stand the guy.

Robbie shouldn't be being treated like this. It's unacceptable. He's a Tiger great and origin player.

So who are the Tigers playing at hooker.

If it's Halatau that's unacceptable.

Someone needs to tell Taylor off and tell him if his behaviour continues he will be sacked.

Will be interesting to see what happens from here re Farah and Taylor.
The board backed Taylor to get rid of Farah last year before they back tracked over negative publicity (plus I think they struggled to find him a new home).
It was never gonna come good again after that.
It would seem that either Taylor has won the power struggle and will get the side he wants
or
he has lost and doesn't give a f**k and Farah misses out until he goes.

It's definitely a ploy to make Farah piss off for next year. As far as he is concerned he still has another year left, and rightly so is he allowed to honour that contract

But Taylor wants to get a head start and blood in young guns Cherrington/Liddle, which at this part of the season is f**king dumb

Taylor seems pretty dumb, but this is a stroke of genius.

He drops Farah against a team that he knows that brooks, Moses and tedesco will tear apart, making it look like a master stroke.

i was going to make a comment about benji turning back the clock to his tigers days but he is still doing the same stupid sh!t, crabbing across the park and no look passes over the touchies head into row 3 it is just he actually gets pinged for it now instead of gus blaming his support runners for the mistakes

Dragons v Wests Tigers preview
Robert Crosby | July 22 2016 8:36AM

Top eight hopefuls square off in Sydney derby.

Having been embarrassed by the Gold Coast last Friday night, Dragons coach Paul McGregor has responded to his side's recent showings with a number of changes. Headlined by the addition of youngsters Adam Quinlan and Taane Milne, former Tiger Benji Marshall will also make his return on Sunday, in what will be his 250th appearance in first grade. Jack de Belinwill also celebrate a significant milestone, playing his 100th game for the Dragons after debuting back in 2011. With four wins from the past six clashes against the Tigers, the Red V will be need to fire in attack on Sunday in order to counteract the unpredictable flair of their opponents.
