Something something best for my family. Job to do here.Eels Media 12:30pm today, Dylan Brown apparently will speak to reporters.
Yep and ‘I love Parra for all they have done for me. I’m gonna give everything I’ve got for my teammates and the fans.’Something something best for my family. Job to do here.
There you don't need to watch it.
haha i'd piss off for 1.3 too. losing greenlaw is far far worse. needs perspective
Who would you argue who is the bigger turncoat in the last 15 years.
Reed Mahoney going back to the Bulldogs after they punted him as a kid or Dylan Brown's defection.
I'm pleased that we didn't try to match the offer - he's no Jamie Lyon, or Jarryd Hayne.
But I'm disappointed that he left after the club stood by him.
Manager is Isaac Moses. There is not a chance he will stay at the Tigers.
But 2 years is a long time to wait for a player though.
No, the POs go back to 2019. Check the squad succession thread. It was only in 2023 when we started struggling that merkins finally gave a shit about the POs. Now they’re suddenly the reason we are shit.Weren't most/all the contracts with PO's signed circa 2022 and it has been the ensuing seasons that have gone to shit? That is, we threw them around like confetti and it has been since they've been active that our slide has begun? Would that not indicate some sort of cause and effect?
I'd happily take Burton if they wanted Galvin.
He’s also a brilliant centre!
I put a post in the main thread about Gould. It was shunted to some obscure sub thread by an anonymous mod and even then the responses weren’t great. Makes me think that the greater NRL fan population are too dumb or just don’t care about it. And not just fans, I find it incomprehensible that club officials don’t make more noise about it.I could say the fact its only melbourne who this could affect so who cares.
But how on earth do we have a Player Manager being able to host an NRL Show and just throw out there confidential contract terms like this on national TV as it was around a table at the pub..
Isn't it a conflict of interest Anasta using his role to promote his players while on a show that should be partial.
Imagine if Pezet was at Parramatta & this was said.
This joint would be going ballistic.
People whinge about Gus & rightly so but Anasta is in the same boat.
I honestly don’t give a shit at what Dylan has to say. He’s shown absolutely no loyalty to the club that made him and then stood by him. He at least owed us two more years and if he wasn’t happy and the club was struggling and he wanted to leave I think that would have been fair enough. I hope he fades into obscurity.
Those two were playing in the outside backs at Galvin’s age.
This is being said by a lot on here, and while it is true the Eels could have sacked him after his stupidity they were never going to.
Keeping him at the club was in the Eels' interests because he is a good player. If he wasn't needed he would have been let go. Just like how the Dogs got rid of JAC.
Burton is a terrible defender.
That's the last thing we need.
Hi Dylan.I love the loyalty card. Footy is a business. Clubs get rid of players & players leave. All part of the business. Players have a very limited time window to earn ... and it can go away with the snap of an acl. They are generally going to go the highest bidder, as they should. Same as any accountant, lawyer, garbo, hairdresser etc etc would. I know I would happily leave my employer if another company offered me Knights money to do the same job - even if they didn't sack me after a handsy night out at the Royal Sheaf *allegedly
