Foran, wow!!
Don't know why Hassen has copped so much shit on this forum.
He's a damn good toiler and is not a push over.
Great budget purchase.
Look forward to seeing what he brings to our top 35 next season.
Foran made 112m tonight, 4 tackles busts, a try assist.
When was the last time one of our halves made 100m?
I don't think Sandow made 100m all year combined.

Foran made a trying saving tackle, never saw Sandow do that in 4 years. Massive signing for us.
One of the most overrated players more like it, when I'm the mood he's as good as anybody they had played the game. Too bad that's about one a month.Hes looking very fast on his feet and between the ears. Even survived a monster crusher tackle from Inglis. Notice how the comentators stopped short of bringing attention to the crusher from Inglis? Typical bias.
Did Warren actually nominate Inglis as one of the greatest players of all time? Really Rabbits?
I agree!! I think pretty much any player with NRL experience that a club can sign to a second tier contract is a big plus for the club.
How do you know it is a second tier contract?
. James Hasson is likely to join the Eels next season on a second-tier deal. The Irish international is hardly Robinson Crusoe ? Kieran Foran will also make the shift west, while Brad Arthur, Will Hopoate, Anthony Watmough, David Gower, Richie Fa'aoso and Darcy Lussick have already done so.
It's possible he's coming on a second tier deal but I think it's unlikely. He is a solid backup with a bit of experience, and given he is playing in roughly half of Manly's games it's unlikely they wouldn't have also offered him another second tier spot. After all the cost is virtually negligible in the context of an NRL club's budget, and doesn't count under the top 25 cap.
So you'd have to ask why he would leave his current club for a deal no better than the one offered (second tier deals are all about the same value, being roughly NRL minimum salary). He might have come to Parra because he loves Arthur's (possible) or because he has been promised more first grade than Manly could provide (unlikely given the two packs). So it's likely that we have offered more money, which would almost certainly place him inside the top 25. That doesn't mean he's on $200k a year though. More likely is he's on half of that. Is he worth $100k? I think so. He's also young enough to keep improving.
If pou pou thinks he's worth the price that he made up then it must be a great deal.
Seeing Foran play in this manner gives me plenty of hope. Can you imagine Junior Paulo and Tepai running off him in 2016? He is all class. Hope Manly make the finals now.
The side of the field he will play concerns me. If he plays on the left (where he always plays) he will be more comfortable passing, stepping and tackling but both he and Norman will be on the wrong side for their natural kicking foot. Also, Norman will be on his least comfortable side.
If Foran plays on the right then he and Norman are on the sides that favour their kicking foot but then our 1.2million dollar signing is playing on his least preferred side.
