I think the game shows we have sufficient depth, I would be comfortable with Hunt in the centres and Oldfield on a wing, Cody at five eighth also looks good and our young forwards looked good and will improve but I like Brown and Carter and would not hesitate with either. Cook and Mccinnes compliment each other and the team, if both play it would be ok.

I think that we have a good side that will be built around our spine of Inglis, Adam/Cody, Cook - throw in Sam and his brothers and we are looking good, much better than I thought

Well first thing is the choice of centres - Goodwin ( I wouldn't go into whats wrong with that choice again, you have already heard why I think its a bad choice)

the biggest problem i had with goodwin was his defense. not his tackling but decisions in defense. sometimes he would rush up and in when he didn't need to, but if he has fixed that then i don't mind him in the centres. i still think hunt is a chance of taking that position from him though, but he needs to out perform goodwin first, and i don't think he has quite done that yet

Yes his decisions in defences are a issue IMO I agree with you 100% on that note, the rushing up in the line cost us a lot. I only think three players have the positions locked down in GI, AJ and Auva'a in the backline. IMO the other two positions are still open. One thing is for sure I hope it doesn't go to Nielsen.

Five eight I believe Keary went a bit backwards last year when Reynolds was out injured Keary did not take control of the side with his kicking game the guy who took control during that period was Sutto, Cody showed yesterday what he could do with 13 men on the field compared to 9 in the side, Good running game, passing. Hopefully Keary saw that performance yesterday and lifts his game to the next level.

I don't think Clark is up for a starting prop position yes he was good in the 9s but I don't see him as a prop in first grade best position for him is already taken in Sam Burgess at lock.

Carter did well but I think is best suited on the bench as he can lift the side coming on and also he can cover a number of positions.

The bench well Madge likes that over power style of football having a hooker on the bench kind of goes away with that also having Tyrell on the bench is kind of a waste as the guy doesn't make the metres as other NRL props do.

Judging on yesterday performance its clear that Hunt, Brown, Cody and Carter have to be in the side in round 1

Well I feel you are incorrect on Goodwin. I want go into my reasoning again!

Keary will be 5/8 but Cody is not far behind.

As Tyrrell has been injured I don't see him starting at prop. Clark will be starting prop imo until Tyrrell gets more match time under his belt.

Grevsmuhl won't be starting in the back row.

Madge will pick Tyrrell in our best 17. He does tough stuff we don't notice.

If Turner is fit he would make the side. I don't know what's up with Turner though. Is he injured???

shadow, i think mcinnes will only be dummy half for like the first 20 mins. cook will get plenty of time at dummy half when he comes on, don't worry about that. you know how quick and creative cook is. just think how effective he is and will be when he comes onto the field fresh and full of energy after about 20 mins when the opposition is tiring.
