If we end up getting eliminated then im going full nrl nihilist. Growing a goatee and just wearing black turtlenecks while i ponder the meaningless nature of rugby league.
I would have bandwagoned the sharks or panthers but i will support the team that will cause the most suffering. So i will join my good friends ibm, the champ and blaza (who are very sensible posters. Ive always said so) on the broncos wagon
This is what you have done to me MRC. I am a changed man.
No sooks allowed at the Broncos.
Yeah I'm still pretty confident. I hope Stuart resists the urge to shift Rapana back there, I think Santo did a decent job playing the "safe" fullback last time and that's all we need.
IIRC the Broncos tested him out good in that regard too. I just think our strengths are our outside back combinations and it wouldn’t be a good move to break them up. That and Rapana makes me a bit nervous at the back, he’s made some absolute clangers fielding kick returns. I can see the argument for it though, Brenko Lee has played well on the wing and has more first grade experience than Santo. The Sharks will target him relentlessly with kicks, I'm not sure how good his last line of defence is but I think it would be a bad move...
All this wighton histerea has got me laughing. How anyone thinks he will get off is kidding themselves. Perfect example of a shoulder charge that the NRL wants out of the game and it is his 3rd offence in 2 years. Fair to say he needs to look at his technique. Comparing his tackle to Ennis is like comparing chalk and cheese but I do think Ennis was lucky not to get a grade one but I can live with him getting off.
For a bloke to break someones jaw and escape charge, then drop a prowler onto someone else and break their spine and escape again is bizarre. Then Wighton cops that 3 or 4 week charge. Stupid.Well hopefully we get some helpful advice from the judiciary like Ryan James did.
Hey Tye one of those offences is touching the ref and the other was a borderline hit on a falling Soward that would have probably not been hit with a charge if he had been penalised on the field. He hasnt been pinged for three shoulder charges.
Fair to say he has a discipline problem! If he didn't he wouldn't have loading. And who could forget his brain snap last year when he King hit Sharks player Feki. I think he will get what he deserves and be rubbed out for the remainder of the season.
