COOPER CRONK is a CHAMPION..Donates his MOM prizemoney to a childrens charity

so he did the same thing as every player this season who has won a MOM and "donated" the money to charity. Even Scammy Smith, who I am sure it would be in one of his contracts that he "wins" a certain number of MOMs has given that money to charity. (probably the Scam Smith Foundation that buys boats for struggling players and leaves them in the driveway no questions asked).

When you watch what the penalty goal was for in the first half and the sin binning in the 2nd when compared to the physicality of the game you'd be scratchingby our head to out the pieces together regarding the rules.

Raiders were passengers during the 10 trying to save their energy. But if u really think about it, I think once you score any points, you should be able to come back on. All whiting did was prevent a try, so rather than 10 in the bin, why don't they just award a penalty try, then no one would bother holding down.

Also the refs when the game gets physical miss an aweful lot of high shots and wrestles.

That dumb penalty in front of the sticks by the pommy hooker cost them in the end.

Sin bin was 50/50 they've hardly used it for that all year , big call in a prelim

Nah i think giving that away was the right thing to do. Sliding doors and all that but we were shot to pieces and i think melbourne would have scored a try.

If lee had held the ball off the wighton cut out ball we would have likely won

I sort of agree and I don't, he got caught behind the play the ball and they had just let the storm roll down the field the set before. So it would have been 13 on 11. I guess he backed their offence which just ran out of time.

But the sin bin rule needs to change - so dumb. It's not really a big call by the ref as he had no choice and has to apply the rule. But if that was Cameron smith who held down he wouldn't be sin binned that's for sure!

If I recall from the haze of the cows sharks final, a sharks player made a break and the defender was penalised for holding on to long, they didn't use the sin bin for that one.

Think I need to spend a little less time lurking these forums. It's incredible the amount of people who simply are not willing to give us any credit. Just a bunch of whiny twats every week. Ah well.

Anyway well played Canberra - best opposition we faced by far. Supporters aren't bad either, every one I met last night was actually gracious in defeat. Not the same could be said for other travelling fans.

Thought the game was quite good - Raiders can turn things on in the blink of an eye so I was worried until the siren went. You're your own worse enemy though. Lack of discipline and ball control cost you - will probably learn a lot for next season though

Canberra where the better team if only Lee managed to catch the ball he would have had free stroll to the try line the game was there for the taking..Also the sin bin what a joke that was it happens in every game..

I dont have my nrl ladder handy gypsy old mate. How did the dragons go this year ?

First preliminary in the nrl era eh?

Meanwhile saints actually gone to the big dance and have lost one, won one.

Saints'll have a mighty fine pack in a couple of years if their junior base in Canberra keeps doing well.

;-)
