sarcasm aside, it would be good to hear acknowledgement of it from clubs, players and/or the NRL. Maybe outline a plan to improve crowds.
That was in the strategic plan 5 years ago. Correction, it was a goal, nothing said about how we would get there.

Normal NRL lip-service.

Sarcasm aside I have excuses for not going to games, I can't walk far on a flat surface let alone up/down stairs, I drink too much and piss often, swear out loud, like to be close to the fridge, like to stretch my legs out, like to see everything that happens, already pay far less to watch eight games than it would cost to go to just one and miss others, hate queues, wasting time travelling to and fro and basically can't afford the extravagance . . . still, anyone who doesn't have an excuse should feel it their duty to go to games

Oh, almost forgot, the NRL haven't made it possible for me to regularly go to a game within a 7 hour round trip

The NRL need a demand and supply arrangement with games, plus move more games away from their home grounds to promote the game in particular in Sydney as there are just too many games in Sydney at this point. The prices need to decrease as the clubs have now been compensated with the new TV deal to help bring new fans into the game and bring back existing fans who generally don't go because of prices. If you could take a family of 4 for $20 which would be cheaper than than the cinemas, you'd be more incentivised to go.

2nd Rubbish crowd this year for a Roosters V Souths game.
1st was a Thursday at Anz I think?
This one without Origin players.
Nice work NRL.

Definitely the least Souths fans I've ever see at one. There certainly won't be any ridiculous claims of them outnumbering us at a home game this time...

Yes. A very poor attendance given that AFL(A well promoted training run) can easily get 35,000 next door on a good night. For a genuine local derby the promoters should be having a good hard look at themselves. Noticeable the upper areas were vacant in most areas which is something I didn't acknowledge in my estimate.
If Cronulla can get 20,000 when Origin players are out so should a genuine local derby. The people marketing the game have once again failed! They(Club game marketers) are exhibiting a lack of imagination and business acumen if they cannot achieve at least 25,000 to an historical and weather friendly centrally located fixture! The excuse of lack of Origin players is an easy out! Theses guys are either lazy or incompetent or both!
