You wish you could make excuses

12k probably looked pretty good on tv where you watch all your footy.

Yeh in a shty suburban ground 12k looks alright. Sure the whole thing looks third division but still not a sea of empty seats so every cLoud.

Roosters all that success still thousands of empty seats if they cant draw crowds winning minor premierships and being top 4 when could they even draw might as well relocate to central coast and take a few games to adelaide.

It's out first poor crowd of the year you imbecile. 3rd highest crowd average this season.

Ill save you the effort of replying... "but away fans"

No matter where you live in the world, sub 0 Celsius is f**king freezing.

Unless you're used to living in Antarctica or something.

But if you live in a colder climate you become accustomed to it.

So it wouldn't feel as cold for someone from Norway compared to from Darwin.

It was cold all day
Howling westerly .
Late kick off would've put off plenty of people with little kids.
Against a team with no hope
Plus live on ch 9.
12k+ was not too bad
I was expecting less.

I didn't say Canberra wasn't cold either .
IMO it's is a dead set freezing bleak shithole.

I feel warmer at Thredbo than fishwick.

Good on you for putting up with life there.
on the contrary
life here is very good
on average canberrans are the highest paid , best educated people in Australia who enjoy the highest standard of living in the nation
low unemployment
little polution
little crime
no tolls ... lol
our homes are half the price of yours , so heaps more disposable income

and winter lasts for only 25% of the year
the rest of the year is awesome weather wise

oh
& we appreciate our NRL team a lot more then most up your way : )

You still crap on.The overwhelming majority of those 12K were Shark's fans, so they in fact braved the cold and attended,in that so called sh*tty stadium, not much worse than the poor excuse for a ,mish mash stadium in quokkasville WA. Where the last time I saw ,a sea of green empty seats, unfilled by those " devoted " NRL fans.

I was at Henson park this afternoon. It was a great day out. Thumbs up to the jets.

as for the Raiders thats an ok crowd all things considered. I would go as far to say its a good crowd. It is a real shame the f**king loser morons couldn't just put together two f**king good years in a row.I am not asking for a lot when I think that maybe it would be nice to have two good seasons in a row a feat not done since the mid 90s

If we had you know managed to not play like a pack of buffoons things could have really started to have turned around big time with the crowds but why would the people of canberra trust this team enough to go see them on a winters night. I can barely summon the energy to watch them on TV.
