F*ckery, just when i was writing that, i figured out what it was that annoyed me about the Titans heritage jumper...

Its a great design (butcher-stripes are criminally underused in the NRL and its actually has some history for the Titans), its just the white that makes it shit.

chuck that dark blue in there instead and youd actually get a pretty nice design (and a unique design to base the brand off)...

Ahhh, there they are.

Although this is slightly different to the one I saw. There was a blank white jersey template with TBC on it for the alternate jersey. Makes you think they may be ditching the pink.

A bit off topic, but it'd be quite interesting to see if heritage jerseys for the Reds, Rams, Crushers, Seagulls, etc, would sell, and if they did sell who was buying them.

Do battleships scream Gold Coast?

Obviously not directly, but it is a heightened rhetoric that has a core of Gold Coast locality: an Ocean theme for a coastal city

anyway, just spitballing....

How about just replacing the swords with tridents?

Actually not a bad look...

Id go a bit further though:

- remove that handles underneath to place the words at the bottom rather than through the middle
- make the human-figure bigger to compensate that change in dimensions (it has always annoyed me that the thing meant to give the logo personality is treated as background filler)
- change the figure to a Raiders-style bearded king (triton reference)

The BP patch on the Knights jersey is way too big. I've got an authentic one from that era (when they were made by Goodfellows) and it's a fair bit smaller...also had McDonald's badges on the sleeves...

The idea of the Gold Coast Titans without GOLD in their colours is lunacy but looks like it's going to happen, across the entire range...

I can't work out how Classic cocked up the 1999 Dragons jersey, particularly since they were the original manufacturers back in the day. And very sad they stopped doing the 1950's jersey.

That is an interesting point.

Does anyone know if companies that still exist, but no longer sponsor clubs, pay for exposure on heritage jerseys?

Seems like a nice arrangement for BP, Penfolds, Philips, Hyundai, LG etc.

Everything in the catalogue is made, and offered to all the clubs / retailers who will pick and choose what they want to stock.
