The fact he got 2-3 and Hunt gets 4-6 is madness.

No way. Hunt's was a horror tackle and should have been a send off.

A swinging arm with a clenched fist that smashed Elliott directly in the head. One of the worst tackles I've seen in a very long time.

TBH the way you carry on about everything your opinion means very little.

Remember when Prior took Elbows to Thurs ton. Think he copped 7 weeks? Piss week NRL as usual.
5 weeks, but the point stands.
Burgess deserved more than what Prior got.
Prior's was in the act of making a tackle, got it wrong and paid the price.
Gurgess had no other intent than to elbow Barnett in the face and cause injury. Even followed it up with 2 or 3 of the most pathetic punches ever seen on the footy field.

Should be at least 4 weeks. I'm kinda glad he's suspended though, get to replace him with Tom who's doing much better.

George seriously needs a re-evaluation of where he's headed. His handling is atrocious and his last 18 months have been very poor.

I'm a bit pissed off about the Hunt tackle, it was careless but 4 weeks minimum? I would've thought at the most 2 weeks.

The charge for Burns' 'shoulder charge' was weak but then again so was Taumalolos. Outside back depth really being tested.

I was hoping he'd get 0 weeks. George is always good for 5-6 drop balls a game.

Russell Packer did that in Round 1 on a player with 3 guys holding him already. Not penalized or cited for it at all.

So I was at the game, so I might have got this cocked up, but I thought Milf got penalised for a shoulder charge? If I recall correctly in the 2nd half.

He did and he should have been charged. You won't ever hear me defend one of our players that are dumb enough to shoulder charge blokes.

Probably needs to have a week off anyway, he's been diabolical this season!

How is it that people don't understand how loading works? Like, even Fox Sports journos and commentators.

Without the prior on Hunt's record he'd only be looking at 3 weeks to Burgess' 2.

I agree Burgess' charge should have carried a longer suspension, the points grade is too low for the danger striking poses (particularly with an elbow/forearm) but Hunt's only serving 4 weeks because he had a similar prior.

(also, the three Rabbitohs players all took the early plea - so Burgess 2 Hunt 4 Burns 1: http://leagueunlimited.com/news/29743-nrl-match-review-and-judiciary-2017-round-3/)

Finally, a man who knows what he's talking about.

If you don't agree with Timmah, you don't know much about the NRL.

The problem with "similar priors" is that a careless grade 1 is in no way similar to a reckless grade 2. If they want to separate high tackles into careless, reckless and intentional, then only a high tackle in the same (or higher) category should be classified as "similar". Hunt basically gets 50% on top because he slapped someone in the face last year. Harsh.

That means he has a history of going high and deservedly has a similar prior loading applied.

The point of loading is the discourage doing the same dumb shit again and again.
