we were at 85K this time last year with all clubs on sale & 4 clubs showing no numbers
so lets say 100K as a real figure.
we are at 112K this year , with all clubs on sale & 2 , not showing any numbers
so about 122K

excellent growth so far
tracking very well.

Its the same every year. People complaining about Doust/mary/price/no attack/no finals/losing juniors. But people like my old man and his mates see it just as much a social thing - catch up with mates 4 times a year at kogarah - than purely about the club.

That said, i chose not to renew for the first time ever this year.

Christ we have a great core of loyal fans. Those 8,524 people deserve at least a little bit of joy in 2017.

It's good to see the teams that came last and 2nd last in 2016 with strong showings.

The bulldogs number must be inaccurate, I am pretty sure they were ~6,000 a few weeks back.

The bulldogs number must be inaccurate, I am pretty sure they were ~6,000 a few weeks back.

All numbers are taken direct from counters on the club websites on the date bottom right. Dogs only went on sale late October and climbed quickly before plateauing a fair bit. Not sure if the rollover has happened yet and if that might add to the total - or whether it's already happened and growth is slow.

I just asked Phil Gould on twitter regarding memberships for Penrith. I told him if we were at 8k he said no but he said the club will be at 20k when the time comes.

Panthers have finally added a counter, just the Wests Tigers who aren't putting out a figure. Bulldogs had a big rush with their deadline being on the weekend.

138k total. Good signs early.
