Dragons hit 15,000 members today! Not Bad considering we have no attack, can't score points and a coach that can't coach.

Fair call, didn't consider that. I just couldn't imagine us having all that many SA / WA fans but you're right in saying that everyone should feel included

Surely one of the reasons for taking NRL games to new markets is to develop new fanbases? There has been a hugely positive shift in last two seasons of these on the road games. previously only the club whose home game it was sold merch, memberships, tickets etc for and at the game. Now it seems clubs involved have come to an agreement that both can do so. This means WA NRL fans this year have the option to become members of Manly, Warriors, Souths or Storm and get a one game ticketed membership. This should be welcomed.

Don't know why (if they don't) the NRL don't do a WA / SA / Tas / NT / PNG membership.

Send out a season guide, a NRL pass card that gives you access to 3-6 games wherever NRL is played, some footy cards, info about that region's Jr league etc, and access to bonus content on NRL app filmed and created specifically for these expansion markets without a current NRL team.

People will join if they feel part of something and if they don't have to back a team, the NRL can provide all info to these people.

Because these games are still controlled by the clubs, at the whim of the clubs. Whilst Souths have shown great commitment to playing in WA over the years most clubs come and go depending on the mood of the CEO, what they can wangle out of the State Govt or how much loss they are due to make. We never know if we will get one game or three. Last year they did combine a membership for one of the NRL games and the test match which was a positive start. When the NRL becomes strategic and visionary enough to actually controlling the scheduling of on the road games then we may see that happen.

Long term commitment to growth areas is the key . Rabbits should be applauded for their commitment to Perth. Their brand has definitely grown and along with warriors would be by far the most supported league team in W.A

I feel like Cronullas memberships would almost all be ticketed. Running through ticket sales for the next few games they look to be already selling well.
