Which clubs are likely to break the 20k barrier in next year or so?
Warriors still underwhelm the most and have the biggest growth potential,
looks like Storm wil put many traditional clubs to shame and get there soon,
if Newcastle ever get the club sorted out they would have to be a good bet.
Which of the Sydney clubs have the potential to top Souths? Bulldogs and eels would seem the most likely?

If the raiders win a premiership I reckon the potential is there. Big ask based on our recent history though

Just looking at the number of followers on twitter (a rough guide to followers), the rankings are:
1. Broncos - 110k
2. Storm - 95k
3. Warriors - 95k
4. Souths - 93k
5. Bulldogs - 76k
6. Tigers - 64k
7. Cowboys - 62k
8. Roosters - 61k
9. Manly - 56k
10. Titans - 56k
11. Sharks - 55k
12. Eels - 53k
13. Dragons - 49k
14. Panthers - 48k
15. Knights - 48k
16. Raiders - 45k

Ratios of twitter followers to members are:
1. Raiders - 2.77
2. Eels - 2.80
3. Dragons - 3.17
4. Souths - 3.30
5. Panthers - 3.42
6. Broncos - 3.71
7. Knights - 3.88
8. Cowboys - 4.08
9. Sharks - 4.32
10. Bulldogs - 4.49
11. Roosters - 4.67
12. Tigers - 4.77
13. Manly - 4.81
14. Storm - 5.53
15. Titans - 5.94
16. Warriors - 6.33
ALL CLUBS COMBINED - 4.11

So, what can we draw from this? Either the clubs at the top of the list (Raiders, Eels, Dragons, etc) have done a good job in converting their general followers into becoming members or they need to do a better job with their social media.

On the flipside, either the clubs at the bottom of the list (Warriors, Titans and Storm) do a great job with their social media, or they are very poor at converting these followers into members. They may also have the greatest potential to increase their memberships in the near future.

I've seen this done with Facebook, there is the slight flaw though in that fans can follow all NRL clubs just for interests sake and only ever be a possible fan/member of 1 club.

Yes, that's why I said it was only a rough guide.

Just a question, does anyone know what is the highest number of teams that have reached 20k memberships?. Are we on track to break it?.
