Ill tip the Raiders for that ( almost 20,000 atm) , & Penrith boomed a couple of years ago out of nowhere too almost hitting 20K

it'd be an interesting exercise
I'm talking each year the % of more members compared to the previous.

sharks have added about ( a guess ) %15 more each year over the last 5.

Canberra 7630 (2013) to 19028
Cronulla 8246 (2013) to 14689

Canberra probably have the wood on Cronulla but both are impressive growth.
It won't be long before both teams start losing again and you'll see them below 10k

Has any other club done this?

PR you could arrange to meet up with 100 new mates.

Interesting they didn't identify ticketed and non ticketed numbers. Some interesting stats there, ones that jump out:

only 45% of members live in the shire
decent qland membership number
biggest group are over 41 years old

In terms of growth both Canberra and Wests are leading the way with 25% growth in memberships. Melbourne is the next best with 15%. Cronulla only has a 5% growth.

OK being a little pedantic Shark's numbers are in fact up 6.6% already on 2016 numbers shown at 18th July.
Still another month to add additional members for apple to apple comparison.
