Jesus Christ you just openly admitted what we've been saying for the last four pages.
so we agree Thursday, Monday and 6pm Friday (most likely) have a negative effect on crowds and nrl has and has had the most of any code of these ergo crap nrl crowds due to poor nrl decisions. Goodo. Time to talk about something else lol.

Premiers and still can't get above the nrl average lol.

If you don't think crap ko times equals lower crowds equals less ticketed members there's nothing I can say to help you understand.

Home average is where the heart is.Just like Perth where you constantly brag about their support.Dwindling I might add.

You are as dopey as they come. The Sharks have sold out stands for 2017,despite the new scheduling .Sort of stuffs your continual droning theories.Titan's membership numbers are up.
I recommend a frontal lobotomy, might help you with research,

You're trying to pretend we have a uniquely shit schedule which is solely responsible for crowds being garbage (incidentally not the topic of this thread), when there are plenty of factors at play - and our schedule really isn't that unique.

I'm still interested as to whether you're keen to ban Thursday late night shopping. Clearly that's keeping kids up too late as well.

not unique ??

lol

if we had a handful of thursday night games & 6pm Friday games youd have a point

we have a majority of our season featuring both
so we are ..... unique... thanks all the same : )

Monday certainly did - and as a result it's gone.

Thursday I don't think is as bad as some make out (certainly worse than Friday night games but not diabolical).

Friday 6pm hasn't happened yet. Doesn't seem ideal obviously - but it's to be tested. It very well may fail. It also might surprise. Who knows?

My point for the last few pages has been that we're not unique - most codes are moving toward playing Thursday games in greater numbers. Your point about AFL's slide being attributed to that literally proved my point (although I'd argue low-drawing expansion teams is a bigger reason).

Some strong increases at some clubs at this stage of comparison. Be interesting to see if those % increases are maintained to season KO or are due to early/auto renewals of existing members. You have to admire Newcastle and Eels fans!

As long as the Sharks crowds are up comparatively to previous years then The Sharks have done THEIR job in the scheme of things.

Comparing a single clubs crowd to the avg is just plain dumb. It's an avg for a reason.

Exactly. ~ half of the clubs will be under, the other half above it. Median is probably more relevant than average these days

I think every school kid that plays league or oztag and every junior player for each club should be given some sort of membership.

Even it's only a few game pass each season it might encourage the kids to attend more games and boost membership numbers.

That doesn't surprise me. The smaller the pond remains the longer the little fish survive

Wow the Broncos crowds are so far above the average. They are the bestest at this crowd thing.

Monday night football could have worked if they played games at suburban grounds (ANZ was a bad idea) or put them out in the bush as a promotional tool. Wests vs Cronulla out at Dubbo? You'd fill the ground, give the bush live NRL action, and viewers back in Sydney get it live on TV at 7pm.

The 6pm Friday slot is irrelevant anyway as the Warriors will be talking the bulk of them from what I remember of the draw.

Every junior league player, coach and official be it at school or through clubs are given access to one free ticket per round. They used to receive a pass that allowed them to attend any NRL game for free, but that changed last year to a registration that allowed them to obtain one ticket per round. As a teacher I actually receive one for coaching our school league team.
