Once again NSW fell into the 'hope the refs put the whistle away' call.
Qld absolutely outenthused NSW, but the also outsmarted them.
Qld were far more prepared for 'no rules' footy than NSW were.
NSW finally clued on after half time and gained the ascendancy, but the rules kicked in again and Graham got done for a rake.
The Maroons were far too good and NSW should embrace the future, which hopefully has no Daley or Pearce.

at least those blokes did a job for QLD in the past.

Graham......his claim to fame is rushing out of the line allowing a mcguire line break and try and giving away penalties to lose game 2, and giving away more penalties tonight to end any momentum NSW had. well done on sealing his second series participation with a second series loss
Someone mentioned Graham was "built for origin".

Thing is,Queenslanders "think origin".It's the same story every time...Qld have superior football sense.NSW play off the hip too much and solely play for the pride...which in itself,is not enough.NSW needs to learn how to control the game better when it gets away from them...not when it comes to the last 10 minutes when Qld are just starting to run on the smell of an oily rag.

To me,Daley doesn't seem to have the same football nous and carismatic influence as Gould,Willey and Wayne Pearce.

They need someone in there who reeks of the kind of stature in footballing circles who can turn this all around.

He's a winner and has a shitload more coaching ability than Daley. May instill something resembling killer instinct into this gutless rabble.

I feel a mixture of anger and envy watching Qld celebrate in the dressing rooms. I still remember so clearly when they were proclaiming that Origin as an entire concept was in jeopardy if they lost another series and how the entire world was against them- yet look at them now. They were bleeding and there to be belted like a cane toad off a golf-club- but yet again they're all sitting there with those shit-eating grins, drinking their mid-strength piss like "What were you all worried about?"

F**k off!

Meanwhile, Laurie Daley has the look of somebody who's just woken up from a dream where he was the Blues Origin coach- and like he can't work out how on Earth selecting Mitchell Pearce didn't work out for the 17th time in a row? I see Qld and I see the NSW players who've come into the squad over the past couple of years and I see the Blues dominating at every level bar NRL level and I think

"That could be US".

That could be NSW, sitting in the dressing room at full-time with their brilliant smiles and yet another Origin shield, drinking ice cold Tooheys New just as God intended- yet a lack of balls and a lack of "back me or sack me" accountability keeps robbing the state of Origin wins.

Hearing Joey just then was music to the ears. I'd f**king love for he and Gus to begin plotting a joint effort to take on next years' series. Qld have just won 3 in a row- NSW's longest ever streak- and will be gunning for 4 next season.

This shit has to stop. I hope one day I can look back on tonight and say it was the final battle we lost to win the war- in between asking who's that f**ker named Jason Smith?

I really don't think getting rid of Pearce will change much for NSW. They lost that due to the whole circus around Cordner which was obviously a massive distraction and shouldn't have played in the end, plus some of the forwards not turning up.

I still remember sitting at home with my dad in 2005 when Joey played the perfect game and the Blues were up 32-0, Queensland fans were booing their own team etc. My dad said Queensland would never win another series and that Origin was over.
