I'm hoping it was just a really rubbish display due to complacency and it wont be repeated but the loss highlighted many flaws

Pineapple?

I know a cherry is $5,a lobster is $20,a monkey is $100.

A Pineapple a $50?

EDIT: the div was not $14k.That was the final pool.

Here is the final divs:

  • Final Dividend $2,648.20
  • Final Pool $14,124.00
Pineapple is what it's known as up here but haven't heard of a cherry.

Same Penrith as last year.

Attack like the Harlem Globe Trotters and defend with dinner suits on.

They'll make the Semi's and then get bounced out.

Absolutely disgraceful how much they talked him up as an immortal pre game. He absolutely dogged it out there and got rag dolled so many times
Which is why he should never be NSW Origin fullback again.

He's simply not strong or tough enough to be Origin fullback.

All this negativity, after round 1 mind you. I'm prepared to write this performance off.

If we don't improve next week, there will be a hell of a lot of Foxtel disconnections the week after.

Your team should be extremely motivated in a round 1 clash though. Penrith didn't look like they wanted to be there which is very concerning

You guys will probably turn it around and have a blinder against us lol

Like most playmakers, Moylan cannot do what he does when the forwards are getting smashed. That's what happened yesterday.

Even in the semi final against the Dogs last year that we won comfortably, it was not until the forwards laid a platform at around 30 minutes in that Moylan was able to take control of the game. Until then he looked completely inept.

The Panthers were complacent and completely unprepared for the Dragons forwards. If St George can play like this every week, they'll make the finals.

And yes, you should expect a different performance next week. I can imagine JT making a sticky mess in his war room when looking over the weaknesses in the Panthers defensive line from this match.

I mentioned else where that in the first month, teams are finding their feet with match fitness, etc.

But I have to also take in consideration that other teams so far are light years ahead of us when you look at the other Rnd 1 performances.

.

I think you're missing the point

At an early age I was told to put my body on the line, none of which the Penrith players seemed to be doing, there was 2 tries scored through TMM and Cartwright I believe with Moylan trailing right behind them and Thompson went straight through all of them twice.

Moylan may have had a chance to hold him up but I just saw him jersey grabbing which isn't what you want in a guy leading by example.
