Why did we get a penalty when leilua dropped it? I am very grateful for the try, but refs are so predictably bad. We shouldn't have had that opportunity

With some of the play this weekend can we put to bed the expansion debate.

Seriously there are players in a lot of these First Grade teams who are not First Graders let alone enough for new teams.

The Storm, Sharks, Broncos and Titans have their act together. The Cowboys will soon and it seems like a matter of time until the Roosters and Raiders click. Not much different to any other year I reckon.

The Titans are a legit chance imo

I agree.

Except the Broncos are woeful on game management and 5th tackle plays, even with (especially with?) Hunt.

Storm have decided to stop defending, and are sorely depleted in the front row.

Titans have one of the worst defensive set ups in the league.

Roosters and Raiders have some quality players, and some quality stupidity in their games.

Cowboys are stretched thin, but might improve soon with some troops back.

And my mob couldn't catch a cold. Except if there was a penalty in it, then we'd give it away.

Dragons actually solid, but probably need more than that to win.

But yes, these teams (I cleverly narrowed it down to about 11 contenders...) look the most likely, if any of them can get their acts together (not writing off the others, Manly have some good games in them, Dogs too sometimes, Eels sometimes OK).

Your observations are thorough yet swift!
