I think Penrith will kick-start their season.
We would have to be so much better in defence for that.

Panthers a missing a trick by barely playing Peachey. They look so much more dangerous with him on the field. Whats up with that?
Surely he is a better centre option than Whare at this point in time. Blake looks like he is ready to explode if he ever got the ball off the halves/Yeo.I think our coach is having trouble getting him into the game off the bench. He won't displace CHN or Yeo in the backrow for a starting spot either (Even Cartwright for that matter).
Whare hurt his jaw during the game on the weekend. If he is out then you would think Peachey will go to centre. Solves that problem.

As they say in the gee gees, ignore last run. The defence against the Cowboys was exceptional. Lets hope Rein is fit for this because he was sadly missed. Fisher-Harris coming off the bench (most likely) will also help.We would have to be so much better in defence for that.
With Peachy back at the centers, Rein at hooker and Fisher-Harris possibly fitting in the bench i'm feeling a lot more confident that the boys can get the job done.

This is almost the same Manly side we flogged twice last year.
DCE, Taupau, Koroisau and Tom T (at fullback) all played in Round 26 at Penrith. Walker and Stewart didn't. The point being, this Manly side isn't any better on paper than that side, which lost 36-6, was. Tom and Taupau were playing crocked though, for reasons beyond me since Manly were long out of the running.Pretty close to the one you beat in Round 14
Except........we had no DCE in that game, no Taupau, no Lussick, no Lawrence, Dylan Walker at 6 and Koriasau at 7, Brett Stewart playing on one leg with Tom T on the wing. Oh and Blake Green was playing for Melbourne.
Other than that, practically identical........
