To be fair, we have a fair bunch of whingers about refs. But it's an NRL thing that really pisses me off, this obsession with "ref bias"

I rarely post in the game threads, maybe every few weeks and normally not till after so I wouldn't know. I do my best not whinge about refs because they are f**ked for everyone.

I don't think refs are bias but I do think they need to take control back. Call to the rules, don't try and manage things. They're too worried about influencing a game.

Not refs, just badger, no one else. I wouldn't say his cost us games but he seems to make really baffling calls against us every game.

And please look at any panthers game day thread, you're the worst set of fans for complaining about refs out of anyone on here.

Nah, it's the Bunnies fans - Only reason though, is the amount of whinging about refs from AlienShadow20 brings up the average a substantial amount...

The win last week for the Tigers was a good thing for us... we have a habit of being complacent and lazy at times.

The tigers play like they did last week and we are there to be beaten for sure, but Its just hard to see them maintain that intensity now they have a got another win and their top 8 prospects are done.

This, they just need to go back to calling the rules, teams just keep pushing the boundaries because they know the refs will eventually let it go even if it is initially pinged.

How special are you? Come in here sooking about the ref days before the game then you try and shift onto Penrith fans. "wah wah Badger hates us we will lose because of him...but those panthers fans geez they can whinge about a ref they are way worse than me" lol you muppet.
.

i actually said i dont believe he has ever cost us a game. i said we seem to cop bewildering decisons against us from him everytime he refs.

meanwhile panthers fans still whinge about a forward pass from round 3 or whatever it was in a game thread on the weekend

Who still whinges about that? Lol i've no doubt there are Penrith fans who like a good whinge about the refs it wouldn't surprise me in the least, it was just not a well timed comment from you Vic.

Actually think it's quite the opposite, Titans had everything to play for last week and to put it short got schooled by the team that had nothing to play for and had free reigns to chuck the footy around, not to mention we should've beat parra the week before if not for a missed goal.

On current form we're better placed on the ladder

We'd be one win out of the top 4 if the correct call had been made on that particular occasion. Probably undeserved, but that might be why it continues to come up.

If anything a whinge beforehand holds more weight. I don't think any other ref does it too us, only Badge and like I said the club appears to aswell. Maybe Badger is just a horrible ref who makes strange calls against every side, obviously I don't remember the ones as much from games not involving the Tigers. Everyone thinks their team gets more bad then good calls.

And I don't think he'll cost us the game. Our last 2 games against the panthers we've lost by 30 and 36. The way they use their strong edge runners in Yeo, Cartwright, JFH, Whare etc has terrorized our notorious flimsy edge defence. Cleary has gone a long way to rectifying that but this will be by far our biggest test. We could have Laurie Nichols refereeing and I wouldn't be confident.

In this case we may be in some trouble.

But you gotta think we'd be there if we didn't get flogged by Souths or Brisbane etc. We've had some luck go our way lately to make up for some dud early calls imo.

We'll lift either way. The team wants to finish as high as possible and have a strong finish to the season. Just cause we can't make the 8 doesn't mean we don't have aspirations of our own

Yep they will want to put a big dent in Panthers finals charge

I enjoy watching the Panthers play. Man for man they are as talented and athletic as any roster in the comp. The finals will be more intetesting if they make the 8 for me.

They should walk this one in, but there's a reason why they're fighting for a spot in bottom part of the 8, so my boys have an outside chance if they don't turn up.

PS - Griffin is as uninspiring bore. He does not make his players moist for the game of rugby league.
