I haven't been impressed by Penrith at all during their winning run.

As things stand I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised to see them lose their final 3 games of the season against much tougher opposition than they've faced the past 6 weeks.

Raiders by 12 thanks to 12 DWZ knock ons.

I remember the 1991 side, winning games week in and week out, leading the comp from first game to last while never really looking like world beaters, and journos like Roy Masters were asking when the side was going to start doing what it was capable of. The answer of course was when they needed to, which wasn't really until the second half of the Grand Final.

This isn't the '91 side, but there is much improvement to come. Whereas I don't think the Roosters can do much more than they did in losing the other night. They were like the Cowboys on the same evening, tried their guts out in the face of a much better opponent.

Raiders have immensely improved even in the last 3 weeks. Penrith have been stagnant in all their consecutive wins albeit doing enough to win of course which is the main thing

I'd arguably say raiders are in a tad bit better form due to the fact they've had harder opponents

Penrith will be desperate but not as desperate as the raiders as I think Penrith only need to win 1 of their remaining 3 to cement a spot and raiders to win all 3.

Raiders run this year reminds me of my tiges last year where we had to keep winning at all costs only to be flogged at the final hurdle. Sadly I think that'll happen to Canberra this year aswell against Melbourne in the final round

Unless Bellamy decides to rest Slater, Cronk, Munster, Smith, Bromwich and Cheyse Blair before the finals....

The good thing is Panthers gave learnt to win despite themselves. It should worry the Raiders because we'll go for 80 minutes looking for a win no matter what. We won't give up if it gets tough. Should be a good game.

He's f*cked my SuperCoach Grand Finals in the past by doing that. Wouldn't put it past him.

But I still have a feeling that it will be Knights who put us out of our misery. That's so Raiders.

The roosters don't have to do any more than they did the other night, they went down by 3 away to the premiership favourites with some dubious officiating in the first half. Still, they weren't good enough on the night but very close.

The panthers are rightly being questioned because they just haven't beaten anyone of note, besides Manly in this run of 6 matches or at any other stage this season. 4 of the opponents in the run of 6 wins are horrible teams, 1 is experiencing an injury crisis and the other is Manly who was on the wrong end of a 14-4 penalty count.

Add to that they were drawn to play each of Storm, Brisbane, Roosters, Sharks and Eels once this season (all resulting in losses), who just happen to be the 5 teams above Penrith at the moment and you can see why there are severe doubts about their credentials.

Not to mention 5 out of the 6 wins have been at their home ground.

Hey now none of that. Seriously though it would be good to play a few of those teams.

Offering some critic back: the Roosters have a discipline problem as they essentially got beat on penalties goals this week and the same thing happened against us. You got 3 tries to 1 yet it took a last minute try to win the game because of penalty goals.

I don't see doubts over their credentials, all I see is Roosters supporters shitting themselves with worry.
