Anyway that ball from Moses was slick... In the end anyway. Not sure I'd be trying it with the game live, but it looked nice

Well what was potentially a decent contest was ruined by the refs with the icing on the cake being that disgusting decision.

Parra probably would have won anyway but we'll never know.

I genuinely think that try decision hurt us in the long run. They clearly realised their mistake and went the square up. Plus the Titans fired up.

Inb4 anyone accuses me of blaming the refs, my point is that performance wasn't good enough in any way. Both sides copped terrible calls. The biggest being the unbelievable try decision that went our way.

Probably? Bro seriously it was an obvious no try but we were clearly the better team.

We were already up 18 nil and the Titans offering nothing, hardly a momentum swinger.

They had enough ball in the second half on our try line to score a few and put us under pressure and came up with practically squat.

To me it felt like Parra were in 3rd gear and would have blown the Titans away if they bothered to hold onto the ball and dug in.

Unfortunately the refs seem to have a pre-conceived idea and just constantly gave them legups to get them out of the red zone so that the game goes to plan. If anything it makes the players lazy as the ones gifted the penalties just think they have to cruise through the game and the team that it happens against just get an attitude that they wont be allowed into the game

This ruins the spectacle and it degenerates into what we saw tonight,

I'm not having a go at Parra in any way shape or form, but it's really shit when it happens to your team as we all know except for maybe Broncos and Storm fans,

The game was over as soon as Smith scored in the second half. Whatever confidence the Gold Coast had evaporated and they were lucky they had that period after the Radradra try. The Gold Coast bobbled and stumbled their way into repeat set after repeat set, finally crashing through when they were able to pick together two good rucks.

The Eels weren't great, but that's to be expected when French is playing on one leg and their other attacking weapon is gone for the year. Moses and Norman weren't great and their awful last tackle options kept the Coast in the game but you'd expect them to fire up against the Broncos next week.

Also I hate it when the media generalises and blames the bunker or the referees. Why not just single out the referee who came up with the call? In this case, Patten came up with an awful crime and should have to suffer the consequences. The only silver lining is that he made the call when the game was practically over.

Moses did have five LBAs. That's pretty handy
