That would have been a penalty 99% of the time to Manly, and the "backchat" is never ruled that harshly.

I don't mind if players have to take more care playing the ball, and if the referees penalise all questioning of their decisions, but I bet neither happens that way again this season

Refs really love giving penalties to the wrong team this year. Thats as bad as penalizing Storm for lashing out with the boot when the Tigers were holding his legs and not letting go.
