True. The ref was also of the opinion Milford didn't knock it on last night so the point remains valid. Don't care either way tbh.
I'm not arguing the call is wrong or right, that is for each person to decide on their own and trying to convince someone to change their mind over the internet is pretty futile.
Just trying to help people make a bit more of an informed arguement for their decision.

I've always thought 100% certainty is stupid, how can you ever be 100% certain someone will score a try? How many blokes have just dropped the pill cold over the line when they look certain to score? It does happen.

For mine they need to change the wording to 'Beyond reasonable doubt' or something.

For mine Bakuya was definitely winning the race to the ball if his arms weren't interfered with he would have clearly been in a position to get the ball down. So fair penalty try.
The wording isn't 100% certainty though and your points probably provide the reason why it isn't, we've seen players drop the ball cold over the line before so it is never certain.

The wording is only that a try would have been scored in the referees opinion.

If that's the case then good. There seems to be a perception out there that the refs have to be certain it would be scored. Ryan James's complaints and this thread show that.

If Copley came from the side and not behind it's alright.

Blatant professional foul. Try had to be awarded.
