Are there any major differences between this Scottish team and the one which drew with NZ a few years ago? Is it a similar player group?

Isn't it deliberate that the anthem cuts off so the players can sing it? Cultural challenge?
FOR the second straight week, Scotland suffered the embarrassment of having their national anthem cut short before a group stage game at the Rugby League World Cup.

The Scottish side lined up to sing Flower of Scotland before their clash against the Kiwis in Christchurch — and were forced to sing the second verse of the song without any backing music.

It comes after Scotland players were forced to endure the same embarrassment in their tournament opener against Tonga in Cairns the previous week.

The Scottish players bravely sung the second verse of the song. After being abandoned by the backing music, their voices were all that could be heard around the Christchurch stadium.

how is it growing the game,if anything its destroying it
If three teams play it all the time, such as the tri nations you suggested, the other countries will not get into league because they cant a chance to play the worlds best. Other countries we'll turn around and say 'stick your game up your ass' and never play it thus diminishing the game and slowly killing it.

thats why u have friendly matches for isnt it ???

and if the depth was there fine but its not its hard to watch these matches it really makes me feel like the game has gone backwards
and dont forget scotland have a world ranking of 4th
