Only RL could possibly f*** this opportunity up but we are looking at a possible Origin type event here. NZ, Tonga and Samoa in an annual 3 way series during Origin itself..

The RLIF need to take charge. This is an opportunity than can't be lost. It's just too valuable to the game. The TV deals and publicity and ratings in both Australia and NZ would be utterly lucrative. Stuff Ch9. Offer it to Seven (or Ten) and above all PAY the players something like $10,000 a match..

Any other sport would salivating at the prospect this Pacific rivalry has. Only League can screw this up..I'm even prepared to wait till 2019 if they do it properly.
Many would agree with you,but not the clubs.

Pretty easy to deal with that.

Clubs like to complain that “they” pay the players’ wages so it’s unfair if they get hurt.

Simple solution to that. If they don’t release the players for internationals, they don’t get their grant and can start actually paying their players. See how long they last

Footwork is killing them.

Tonga are great going up and down but you start moving left, right and changing angles, they struggle to cover.

Entertaining game so far.....quality tries from the Kiwis...

Puzzling call from Tonga going for a kick at goal when they had all the ball.

Hakka took too much energy out of the Tongans.

Only if the Warriors could have this side in the NRL.

The Kiwi reaction to Tonga's was interesting. They stood there and afterwards they clapped. Wonder if they were trying to bait them into getting too fired up.
