Word is Souths won't release him.

He's on 200k.

I guess that the club would hold off from announcements until the excitement dies down from the grand final win, and they might wait for players to return from end of season trips etc to be physically present for any announcements.

Dumb to think the same side will meet the same success. Great sides evolve to stay fresh and defend their titles.

Hopefully knights offer him enough that he cant say no and flanno doesnt have to make a call that upsets the harmony...but in professional sport thats what is very often whats required.
