And you have to ask questions of what was happening with Lichaa the first 20 odd rounds of the season. He carved France up.
Layoun was ok. Always in support.
And Mannah was good... not that many people on here would recognise that. He was at least as good and probably better than Twal though really it wasn't much of a prop style game.

I give them a good chance against the Poms

Love that Mitchell Moses kid.

Sure, he has flaws in his game - but his vision and skill are world class, imo.

And his best is yet to come.

And has genuine speed over 15/20m. I like how he saw a hole vs France and pulled the trigger - straight through.

Rust very apparent throughout the game.

I'm most disappointed with Gale, who came with high wraps after winning the Man of Steel award. If he had have had a good game then England had Australia shot on our left edge. Could probably use a few more offloads, too, as they looked dangerous when they did it.

I thought Australia were poor, even taking into account the rustiness. Holmes got plenty of metres but the rest of the three-quarters looked average most of the time.

If England, NZ or Tonga can get their shit together there's a chance that Australia can be knocked over.

Gale played in the four nations last year and was equally disappointing. They replaced him with Brown(?), who was a revelation. Should do it again. I'm actually most disappointed with their fullback. what the f*ck is he there for? He was equally underwhelming for them last year. Surely the Poms have a better fullback than him?

They've rated him highly over there. I thought he tried alright but buggered up their attack a bit.

Not sure whats happened to Sam Tomkins and they also had Hardaker but got busted with coke.

1. Can't cop how these merkins only play once a week. Harden up.

2. Italians punch each other and there is an investigation and players fined $10k each. OTT much ?

Italy coach Cameron Ciraldo says two players who fought each other in a Cairns nightclub on Sunday shook hands and made up the next day – but admits he's powerless to stop World Cup organisers taking action against them.

New Sydney Roosters signing James Tedesco and Huddersfield prop Shannon Wakeman will front an Italian disciplinary hearing on Wednesday after being involved in a fight at Pier Bar in Cairns following their 36-12 loss to Ireland at Barlow Park. Wakeman was reportedly angry about Tedesco's behaviour towards the Super League prop's girlfriend.
